Support and selection
The questions the export desk answers most often — ordering, protocol compatibility, cut-outs, shipping and warranty — plus the reference material behind them.
Ordering
How do I get a price?
Send the model or the machine description to the export desk. Pricing depends on the model, the quantity and the incoterm, so a single number without those three is not a quotation.
What is the minimum order?
One unit for samples and evaluation builds. Volume pricing starts from 50 units per model.
Can you supply a custom configuration?
Many options are factory choices rather than new products — a different cut-out, a longer cable, a different output type. Describe the requirement and it will be quoted as a variant.
Technical
Which PLC protocols are supported?
More than 300 drivers are built into SKTOOL, covering the mainstream Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Delta, Keyence, Panasonic and Schneider families, plus Modbus RTU/TCP. Confirm the exact model before ordering.
Can the panel replace an existing one without re-punching the door?
Usually. The cut-out letter is part of the model code, and several letters share an aperture at 7 inches (A/F/G and B/H/M/Q). Send the current aperture dimensions.
Does the software run in English?
Yes. SKTOOL, SATOOL, SamSoar 2022 and SamSoar II install and run in English, and the panel runtime supports 50 languages for the operator interface.
Can I update a PLC program through the HMI?
Yes — projects can be downloaded through a Rockhood panel, and updated from a USB drive. IoT models also allow remote PLC pass-through.
Shipping and after-sales
How long is delivery?
Three to five working days for sample quantities of mainstream SK, FAs and R8 models; two to four weeks for production volumes, confirmed against your schedule.
Which incoterms do you quote?
EXW Shenzhen, FOB Shenzhen or Yantian, and DDP to most destinations, with the freight line broken out.
What is the warranty?
Twelve months from shipment on manufacturing defects, with an advance-replacement option on repeat orders.
Do you support machines already in the field?
Yes. Send the model code and the symptom; if the unit is out of warranty, a replacement or a repair is quoted against the serial number.

Next step
Tell us what the machine has to do.
Send the axis count, the I/O list or a photo of the existing panel. You get a model recommendation, a wiring note and a quote — usually within one business day.
