Software

Engineering software — one toolchain, free to download

SKTOOL for panels, SamSoar 2022 for controllers, SamSoar II for the volume and motion families, and Cloud 3.0 for the remote layer. English interface, no runtime licence per panel.

English UI300+ protocols50 languagesFree runtime

Each editor is written for its own hardware, and none of them charges a runtime licence per panel — a machine builder can install SKTOOL on every engineer's laptop and deploy projects without counting seats.

Because the panel, the controller and the cloud platform come from the same development group, the tag names match end to end: a tag created in an SKTOOL screen is the tag SamSoar writes and the Cloud dashboard reads. That is the practical difference between an integrated toolchain and four vendors' export plugins.

Programs are portable in the direction that matters. A project built on an all-in-one GT can be moved to a split panel and controller without rewriting the logic, and a machine builder who prototypes on one body can re-deploy on another when the panel size changes.

Free to install

No per-seat or per-panel runtime licence for the HMI and PLC editors.

English by default

The interface, manuals and error messages ship in English; 49 further languages are available in the panel runtime.

Update over the wire

Projects update from a USB drive, and IoT models accept OTA firmware through Cloud 3.0.

Toolchain

The five tools

Pick the one that matches the hardware; the project formats are not interchangeable between HMI editors and PLC editors.

SK series HMI projects

SKTOOL

The project editor for the SK range: recipe groups, multi-window screens, data acquisition, alarm logging, C macros and trend curves, at 16.77 million colours.

  • 300+ PLC communication protocols
  • 50 languages
  • Configuration-file encryption
  • Dynamic and static HMI protection
  • Micro-printer output
EA series HMI projects

SATOOL

The editor for the real-time EA range. Same project structure as SKTOOL, a smaller feature set, and a lower licence cost.

  • EA series panels
  • Real-time project runtime
  • Serial protocols
  • Project password levels
FAs, FAT and expansion platforms

SamSoar 2022

Ladder diagram, function block diagram, instruction list and sequential function chart, with function blocks written in C.

  • Compilation under 0.5 s
  • Download under 3 s
  • Online editing
  • Direct import of competing ladder programs
  • Download through an HMI
FGs, FGR and FGm

SamSoar II

The programming environment for the volume, mini and motion families, including the FGm ten-axis pulse configuration.

  • FGs, FGR and FGm
  • Pulse and cam configuration
  • Modbus RTU networks
  • Online monitoring
Remote monitoring platform

Cloud 3.0

The industrial internet layer: device management, device map, single-device cloud configuration, alarm push, VNC, video monitoring, historical data, OTA firmware and remote PLC download.

  • No programming — drag and drop
  • Device dashboard and digital large screens
  • Alarm push to app and messaging
  • Web, mobile and PC views
  • Automatic reconnection

Need a project reviewed before it ships?

Send the project file and the machine description. We check the protocol driver, the screen resolution and the alarm configuration before the panel goes into the crate.
