HK series
HK servo motors – 40 to 180 mm flange, 100 W to 3.1 kW
The motor range behind the R8 drive: six flange sizes, absolute feedback and a designation that states every option in one line.
HK motors carry an eleven-field designation: flange size, product series, encoder type, rated torque, rated speed, encoder category, single-turn or multi-turn, input voltage, shaft end, brake and motor version.
Field by field: flange 40, 60, 80, 110, 130 or 180 mm; encoder type A for 17-bit absolute or B for 23-bit absolute; encoder category C magnetic or L optical; S single-turn or M multi-turn; voltage 2 for AC 220 V or 3 for AC 380 V; shaft end A, B, C or D for 6, 5, 4 or 3 mm keyways; brake 2 for none or 3 for a holding brake; version A standard, N Sanzhu terminal, F Sanzhu terminal with special waterproof treatment. Torque codes 006, 013, 024 and 190 are 0.6, 1.3, 2.4 and 19 N·m; speed codes 15, 20 and 30 are 1500, 2000 and 3000 rpm.
The range spans 40 mm to 180 mm flange and 100 W to 3100 W. Rated speeds are 1500, 2000, 2500 and
3000 rpm. Most of the range is 220 VAC; the 380 VAC versions sit in the 130 and 180 flanges, as in
130HK-A06025-CS3A2-A.
Six flanges, one family
40, 60, 80, 110, 130 and 180 mm — the same encoder and cable logic across the range.
Torque from 0.16 to 19 N·m
Rated torque codes 006, 013, 024 and 190 map to 0.6, 1.3, 2.4 and 19 N·m at the top of the range.
Brake in the code
2 for no brake, 3 for a holding brake — the brake needs 24 V DC and comes with its own cable below 80 flange.
Absolute by default
Single-turn needs no battery; multi-turn retains position over 65,535 revolutions with a battery in the six-core cable.

Model range
HK motors by flange
The flange decides the mounting; the torque and speed codes complete the part number.
| Flange | Power range | Rated torque | Rated speeds | Voltage | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 40 mm | 100 – 400 W | 0.16 – 1.3 N·m | 1500 / 3000 rpm | 220 V | Small indexing, dispensers, lab machines |
| 60 mm | 100 – 400 W | 0.32 – 1.3 N·m | 1500 / 2000 / 3000 rpm | 220 V | Cartesian robots, feed axes, winders |
| 80 mm | 750 / 1000 W | 2.4 – 3.2 N·m | 1500 / 2000 / 3000 rpm | 220 V | Conveyors, packaging axes, pumps |
| 110 mm | 1200 / 1800 W | 6 – 8.6 N·m | 1500 / 2000 rpm | 220 V | Heavy feed axes, injection units |
| 130 mm | 850 – 3000 W | 4 – 15 N·m | 1500 / 2000 / 2500 rpm | 220 V / 380 V | Machine-tool axes, extruders, presses |
| 180 mm | 3000 W | 19 N·m | 1500 rpm | 380 V | High-torque single-axis drives |
Power and torque figures are per flange family; the exact rating is set by the torque and speed codes in the designation. 380 V windings sit in the 130 and 180 flanges.
Selection notes
How to choose within the range
- Encoder choice is two independent decisions — 17 or 23-bit, magnetic or optical — each in single-turn or multi-turn form.
- Multi-turn encoders retain absolute position over 65,535 revolutions but need a battery, which lives in the six-core encoder cable.
- Sanzhu direct-terminal motors must be matched with Sanzhu terminal cables; the connector families are not interchangeable.
- Where a smaller drive is acceptable the catalogue states the condition: a 1000 W motor in low-speed operation may run from the 750 W drive.
