What is tested on the line, what travels with the goods, and what a certificate actually covers.
On the line
Six checks before a unit is packed
These are the checks that appear on the production record for the mainstream families. They are not unusual — the point is that they happen on every unit and that the record travels with the shipment when a customer asks for it.
The environmental figures are the same ones printed in the specification tables: −20 to 55 °C, 5–95 %RH non-condensing, 2 G vibration, ±6 kV ESD and a 1000 V AC dielectric test. A panel specified into a hotter cabinet needs a different answer, and that conversation is worth having before the order rather than after the first summer.
ESD immunity
±6 kV contact discharge on the enclosure and the connectors.
Dielectric withstand
1000 V AC for one minute between the supply and the enclosure.
Vibration
10–25 Hz at 2 G in X, Y and Z for 30 minutes, powered off, on the mounting clips.
Temperature
−20 °C to +55 °C operating, no freezing; 5–95 %RH non-condensing.
Burn-in
Powered operation before packing, with the display and every port exercised.
Visual and dimensional
Cut-out, bezel and connector positions checked against the drawing.

Certificates apply to the model as shipped. A machine assembled from compliant components still has to be assessed as a whole — the declarations cover the panel, the controller or the drive, not the finished machine.
