HMI · PLC · Servo — export ready
Industrial control hardware, built for machines that ship.
Touch panels from 3.5 to 15.6 inches, compiled controllers from 16 to 66 I/O points, and 400 W to 3 kW servo systems. One supplier for the panel, the logic and the motion — with the documentation your destination markets ask for.
Product range
Four product families, one bill of materials
A machine needs a face, a brain and a muscle. Buying all three from one supplier removes the protocol mismatches, the mixed lead times and the four-way blame when something does not move.
Human–machine interfaces
SK and EA panels on Linux or a real-time system, from a 3.5-inch machine door panel to a 15.6-inch full-HD console.
- IP65 front panel, IP67 fully sealed options
- Ethernet, RS232/422/485, USB, CAN
- IoT models with plug-in 4G / Wi-Fi
Programmable controllers
Compiled Arm Cortex-M4 controllers that scan more than ten times faster than an interpreting PLC, on AC or 24 V DC.
- FAs, FAT, FGs, FGR and FGm families
- Up to 64 CAN expansion modules
- PRO / MAX EtherCAT master, 32 axes
Servo systems
R8 and S8 drives with HK and HS motors — 17- or 23-bit absolute feedback, pulse or EtherCAT.
- Speed loop bandwidth to 2.5 kHz
- Multi-turn absolute over 65 535 revs
- Cables, connectors and brake wiring
HMI and PLC in one cut-out
A panel and a controller behind one front face, for machines where cabinet space and wiring time both matter.
- 4.3 and 7-inch screens
- 8–48 I/O with 200 kHz pulse outputs
- Relay, transistor, PT100 and thermocouple
Why buyers consolidate here
The panel is the easy part. The supply chain around it is not.
Most export builds stall on details that have nothing to do with the screen: a driver that will not talk to the existing controller, a cut-out that does not match the drawing, a certificate the customs broker wants on Friday.
Rockhood supplies the three families together, from a single engineering desk, so those details are settled before the purchase order rather than after the container.
How we workOne shipment, one invoice
Panel, controller, drive, cables and software consolidate into a single consignment with one set of export documents.
Protocol coverage that ends the adapter hunt
More than 300 PLC drivers are built into the panel software, alongside Modbus RTU/TCP, EtherCAT and CAN — including the drivers that make a Rockhood panel talk to a Siemens, Mitsubishi or Omron controller already on the machine.
Documentation for the destination market
CE and FCC declarations, English manuals, wiring diagrams and 2D drawings ship with the goods, so the machine can be re-certified without a documentation round trip.
Engineering answers, not order forms
Send the I/O list, the axis count or a photo of the old panel. You get a model recommendation, a cut-out check and a wiring note before anything is ordered.
Applications
Specified by machine type, not by catalogue page
Each application note starts from what the machine has to do, then names the models that do it.
Packaging machinery
Form-fill-seal, cartoning and labelling lines with cam-free motion.
Textile & yarn
Winding, warping and dyeing control with tension and speed loops.
Machine tools
Pulse and EtherCAT motion for cutting, grinding and engraving.
Plastics
Injection, extrusion and blow-moulding temperature and profile control.
HVAC & refrigeration
Chiller, AHU and heat-pump control with remote monitoring.
Water & wastewater
Pump stations, dosing and filtration with alarm push to a phone.
Food & beverage
Filling, capping and CIP sequences with washdown-rated fronts.
Electronics assembly
Loaders, dispensers and test fixtures with MES hand-off.
Software
One toolchain from the panel to the cloud
The panel, the controller and the cloud platform are written by the same team, so a tag created in the HMI project is the tag the PLC writes and the dashboard reads.
HMI projects
Recipe groups, multi-window screens, C macros, data acquisition and alarms, with configuration-file encryption.
EA series panels
The entry-level project editor for the real-time EA range.
PLC programming
Ladder, function block, instruction list and SFC, with function blocks in C. Compiles in under half a second.
Remote monitoring
Device map, alarm push, VNC, OTA firmware and remote PLC download, configured without code.
How an order runs
From an I/O list to a landed consignment
No portal, no mandatory form. A short email with the machine details starts the same sequence every time.
Start an enquirySend the requirement
I/O list, axis count, screen size, cut-out drawing or a photo of the panel being replaced.
Get a model recommendation
We answer with a specific model code, the alternatives around it and the lead time.
Sample and wire it
One unit ships for bench testing. Send back the wiring photo and we check the pinout with you.
Approve the production run
Quantities, price breaks, packaging and the shipping route are fixed in one quotation.
Export documentation
Invoice, packing list, CE/FCC declarations and the certificate of origin prepared to the destination.
Support after landing
Spare units, firmware updates and English-language technical support for the machine's life.
FAQ
Questions buyers ask before the first order
Anything missing? The export desk answers specification questions directly — no ticket system in between.
Ask by emailWhat is the minimum order quantity?
One unit for samples and evaluation builds. Volume pricing applies from 50 units per model. Sample units are shipped individually so a machine builder can wire and test one panel before committing to a batch.
How long does delivery take?
Three to five working days for sample quantities of mainstream SK, FAs and R8 models; two to four weeks for production volumes, confirmed against your schedule. Consignments normally leave from Shenzhen or Hong Kong, whichever route is faster for the destination.
Which trade terms do you quote?
EXW Shenzhen, FOB Shenzhen/Yantian and DDP to most destinations, quoted with the freight line broken out.
Is the software and documentation in English?
Yes. SKTOOL, SATOOL and SamSoar 2022 install and run in English, the manuals and wiring diagrams are supplied in English, and CE/FCC declarations come with the shipment. Other languages are available on request.
Can you match a panel to an existing cut-out?
Usually. The cut-out is part of the model code — the letter after the size (A, B, F, G, H, M, Q, X) selects it — so an existing aperture can often be matched without changing the drawing. Send the cut-out dimensions and the drawing number.
What happens if a unit fails in the field?
Twelve months from shipment on manufacturing defects, with an advance-replacement option on repeat orders. Technical support answers in English and Chinese, by email and messaging, during Shenzhen business hours.
Next step
