Two platforms, one project editor: the Linux-based SK series with the full interface set, and the real-time EA series for cost-driven builds.
The range splits in two. The SK series runs Linux on an industrial Cortex-A7 — dual-core at up to 1 GHz, 128 MB of flash and 128 MB of DDR3 — and covers every size from 3.5 to 15.6 inches without a gap. The EA series keeps a real-time operating system on an ARM9 for builds where the panel is a display and a serial port, and nothing more.
Every model uses a 4-wire high-precision resistive panel, which keeps gloved hands and stylus work usable, and every panel-mount unit is IP65 on the front face. Ethernet, RS232/422/485, USB download and a USB host port are the common interfaces; 4G, Wi-Fi, CAN bus and a second RS485 channel arrive with the model suffix.
Projects are built in SKTOOL, which carries more than 300 PLC communication protocols, 50 languages, recipe groups, multi-window screens, C macros, alarm logging and data acquisition. A project file can be encrypted, so a machine builder can ship a panel without handing over the source project.
No gap in the size ladder
3.5, 4.3, 5.0, 5.7, 7.0, 10.2, 12.1, 15 and 15.6 inches, each with a standard cut-out so a smaller panel can be swapped into an existing aperture.
Interfaces per model, not per range
Ethernet, dual RS485, RS422, CAN, Wi-Fi, 4G and an external RS485 terminal are selected by suffix, so you pay only for the ports the machine uses.
Built for the plant floor
−20 to 55 °C, 5–95 %RH non-condensing, 2 G vibration, ±6 kV ESD and a 1000 V AC dielectric test; IP65 front panel as standard, IP67 on the sealed models.
One editor, two platforms
SKTOOL for the SK series and SATOOL for the EA series keep the same project structure, so an entry-level build and a premium build share screens and tags.
