HMI: SK-070QS-G
Six fields, read left to right:
- SK — the series. SK is the Linux platform; EA is the real-time entry range; GT and GX are all-in-one bodies.
- 070 — the diagonal in tenths of an inch: 035, 043, 050, 057, 070, 102, 121, 150, 156.
- Q — the cut-out family (A, B, F, G, H, M, Q, X). Several share an aperture at 7 inches: A/F/G and B/H/M/Q.
- S — the feature level: E without Ethernet, S with Ethernet, G with 4G, W with Wi-Fi, D with CAN, T with an external RS485 terminal, F waterproof, H high definition, I isolated.
- -G — the IoT suffix: a plug-in module connector and cloud access.
So SK-070QS-G is a 7-inch Linux panel, Q cut-out, Ethernet, with the IoT module connector.
PLC: FAs-32MT-AC-E
- FAs — the family: FAs, FAT (DC 24 V), FGs (volume), FGR (mini), FGm (motion), PRO/MAX (bus).
- 32 — total I/O points.
- MT — transistor output; MR is relay, HT is transistor with a different pulse arrangement.
- AC — AC 100–240 V supply; DC for the 24 V frames.
- E — Ethernet. N means no Ethernet, with dual RS485 instead.
Servo drive: R8-2208P-N
- R8 — the drive family.
- 22 — supply: 22 for single- or three-phase 220 V, 38 for three-phase 380 V.
- 08 — power code: 02 = 200 W, 04 = 400 W, 08 = 800 W, 10 = 1.0 kW, 15 = 1.5 kW, 22 = 2.2 kW, 26 = 2.6 kW, 30 = 3.0 kW.
- P — pulse/analog plus RS485; Z is EtherCAT, C is CANopen.
- N — standard; S simplified, B dynamic braking.
Motor: 130HK-A06025-CS3A2-A
Eleven fields, and the order is fixed:
- 130 — flange in millimetres: 40, 60, 80, 110, 130, 180.
- HK — the series. HS is the S8-system motor.
- A — encoder type: A = 17-bit absolute, B = 23-bit absolute.
- 060 — rated torque code: 006 = 0.6 N·m, 013 = 1.3, 024 = 2.4, 190 = 19.
- 25 — rated speed code: 15 = 1500, 20 = 2000, 30 = 3000 rpm.
- C — encoder category: C magnetic, L optical.
- S — single-turn; M multi-turn.
- 3 — voltage: 2 = AC 220 V, 3 = AC 380 V.
- A — shaft end: A/B/C/D for 6, 5, 4, 3 mm keyways.
- 2 — brake: 2 none, 3 holding brake.
- A — version: A standard, N Sanzhu terminal, F Sanzhu with waterproof treatment.
Why this matters at the order desk
A purchase order that reads "7-inch HMI, Ethernet" is not an order; it is a request for a quotation. A purchase order that reads SK-070QS-G is a specification, and it can be checked against the cut-out drawing, the protocol list and the destination market before anything is picked from stock.
The same applies in reverse: when a customer sends a part number from a competitor's machine, decoding the fields tells you which of your models is the nearest equivalent — and which fields, cut-out especially, cannot be matched.
