M9
M9 — integrated drive and controller
Motion and machine logic in one housing — one unit instead of two.
M9 combines the drive and the controller in one housing: the motion stage and the machine logic share a single unit instead of two, which removes the wiring between them and the cabinet space that wiring needs.
Technical background
The code is configured rather than fixed — the block after the dash selects the I/O and the interface count, so a machine can be quoted with the exact combination it needs.
One unit, one wire run
The drive and the controller share a housing.
Configured by code
I/O and interface counts are selected in the model code.
Less cabinet
Removes the space and the wiring between two devices.
